“Clicks’ Android Keyboard Case Gives Your Foldable Phone a Retro Palm Pilot Vibe.”

People have often compared the Clicks keyboard case to making an iPhone resemble a Blackberry. But with the company now releasing cases for Android phones, especially foldables, I can’t help but think it brings to mind the Casio Secret Sender Diary I had when I was 12. I begged for that for my birthday. If you take a look at a photo of the Motorola Razr+ paired with the new Clicks keyboard case and squint just a bit, you’ll probably see it, too.

The Clicks physical keyboard case first launched last year for the iPhone 15 Pro and later for the iPhone 16 Pro. This marks the first time it’s available for Android devices. The new Clicks keyboard is now compatible with the Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro (excluding the Pixel 9 Pro XL), the Galaxy S25 (and specifically the Galaxy S25, as the FAQ mentions), and the Moto Razr+, which, with the keyboard case attached, looks like an old-school “electronic diary.” Each phone line has its own version of the case, and when the case is on, ihttps://www.clicks.tech/products/clicks-for-google-pixelt completely transforms the phone into something different.

The Android versions of the Clicks case come in a few colors, like Onyx, black, and Electric blue with gray accents. There’s also a bold yellow and purple variant called Surge, which seems perfect for LA Lakers fans. Honestly, I wouldn’t be shocked if these styles were a nod to Google’s Senior Vice President of Devices & Services, Rick Osterloh, who’s known for his love of basketball.

The Clicks keyboard case operates similarly to the one for iPhone, but now for the Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, and Galaxy S25. Once the keyboard connects to the USB-C port, it lights up and is ready for use. You can take advantage of Android’s built-in keyboard shortcuts to customize your inputs. Plus, the physical keyboard frees up screen space by eliminating the on-screen keyboard, which results in cleaner screenshots.

The version for the Moto Razr+ appeals to me the most because of its unique form factor. Mr. Mobile, co-founder of Clicks, posted a YouTube video showcasing the various keyboard cases. Given the Razr+ cover screen’s capability to fully run Android apps, the Clicks case lets you use the phone without even opening it up if you prefer. At $130, that could be a pretty appealing option.

Maybe it’s finally time I give the Clicks keyboard case a try. We have one floating around for the iPhone 15 Pro. It was back when I got my nails done more regularly and had difficulty using the keyboard case. It’s a thumbs-first kind of input device. But things change, and with the keyboard case coming through for folding phones, there may be a future between me and the Clicks. Just wait until they make this for Samsung’s Z Flip phones.

The Pixel 9 version of the Clicks will be available first in April, followed by the Razr+ and then the Samsung Galaxy S25. All of them are available for pre-order until March 21 for $100. After that, it’s $130.
